Purpose of processing
To respond to enquiries, to record participation and mandate within a defined precinct process, and to administer partnership propositions prepared for consideration by a responsible authority.
Lawful basis
Consent, given expressly on submission of the stakeholder interest form, and legitimate interest in maintaining an accurate participation record.
Categories of information
Contact details, organisational role, represented constituency, geographic area of interest and any message content you choose to supply.
Sharing
Participation records may be summarised for participating constituencies and for a responsible authority, without publishing individual contact details. Personal information is not shared with ResponCiv, and reporter details held by ResponCiv are not shared with GC.
Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as the related precinct process requires, and is then deleted or de-identified according to the applicable schedule.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
