Governance in GC is about traceability: who participated, on what mandate, with what interest, contributing what, and what was referred to which authority.

Documented mandate
Every participant records who they represent and the limits of that mandate.

Recorded dissent
Support, objection and non-participation are recorded alongside participation.

Declared interests
Conflicts of interest are declared, including where evidence relates to a GC-supported initiative.

Transparent funding
Contributions of funding, equipment and services are recorded and reported to participating constituencies.

Non-partisanship
No political affiliation, endorsement or campaigning within any GC process.

Status honesty
Nothing is described as approved or authorised unless the responsible authority has decided so.
